Who We Are Not We are not AA We are not a recovery program and our trainings are not meant to resolve drug and alcohol addiction problems. In fact, to use the workshops effectively, we recommend that you are clean and sober for at least one year before attending. We are not AAA We are not an association, we are a coaching and leadership development company. You will travel during the workshops, but your destination will be internal not external. We are not AARP We are not a membership organization for a specific age group. You do not join Legacy Center, you use Legacy Center. We welcome anyone who is at least 18 years of age, and there is no upper limit. So if you have an AARP card, no problem. We have had people in the trainings that were over 88 years of age. We are not a club We are not a club for a specific activity or group of interests. However, people do have aligned interests in the sense that Legacy graduates are people who are usually about giving, growing, and being their best. We are not boring We have never been described as boring. Challenging, brutally honest, outrageous, thought provoking, excellent, rigorous, intelligent, and bold-these more accurately describe us. We are not mediocre From the care we take in setting up the chairs to the quality of the trainers we work with, we are committed to excellence and being our best. We are not comfortable We invite you to join us on the skinny branches and risk for your dreams. Be comfortable when you watch a DVD. Be uncomfortable when you live your purpose. It's worth it. "Get busy living, or get busy dying." - The Shawshank Redemption, 1994. We are not for people who think they are broken The Legacy workshops are for people whose lives are working, and who recognize that there is always more available. The better your life is working, the better you can use the transformational and coaching technology. |
